- The Ladies National is an annual tournament organised by the Ladies National Committee whose decisions shall be final and binding on all competitors and in all matters appertaining to the running of the competition.
- In order to help defer the costs of running the competition, each Club and the Combined Society shall make an annual contribution to the Ladies National Committee. Clubs are required to play at all venues.
- Teams to consist of seven players; three singles and two pairs. The best two singles scores to count. In the event of a tie the third card will be counted
- All competitors must have a Handicap Index, which for the purpose of entry into the singles competition shall not exceed 29.4. For entry into the fourball betterball competition, all players must have a Handicap Index not exceeding 32.4 but must play off a maximum Handicap Index of 30.4.
- All competitors must be members of their golf club, country members are not eligible to play. The minimum age for entry is 16.
- The Tournament is open to all lady players who are members of Golf Clubs and Societies which are affiliated to the Association of Jewish Golf Clubs & Societies, or are members of the Association of Jewish Ladies Golf Captains.
- Members of a Society affiliated to the Association of Jewish Golf Clubs & Societies (with the exception of the Society of Jewish Lady Golf Captains) who join an affiliated Club may choose to continue playing for the Society. However if they decide to play for their affiliated Club they cannot revert back to the Society. Ladies who are members of clubs not affiliated to the AJGC&S may play in the Combined Society Team if they also are members of the Society of Jewish Lady Golf Captains.
- Players may obtain distance information by use of a distance measuring device. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. elevation changes, wind speed, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3a(1).
- Buggies are only permitted by the committee under exceptional circumstances. This will be subject to a valid Medical Certificate. For further information please see the EG policy on the use of Golf Buggies (Transportation Policy: 2:1, 3:2, 4:1, 4:2, 4:3).
- No player or team can win both gross and net prizes in a category. In this situation the net prize will be awarded to the player or team with the next best net score. Winner of the net prize will take precedence over gross runner up.
