The Ladies National Tournament

Dear Ladies

I hope you have all had an enjoyable and successful golfing season.

The website has now been updated in anticipation of the 2012 Ladies National Tournament to be held at Abridge Golf & Country Club on Thursday, 17^th May.

Hotel information was sent out some time ago and rooms should have been booked by all travelling teams.

The Committee had its annual meeting in November when any correspondence was discussed together with any matters arising from this year’s tournament.

To alleviate the problems some Clubs have in fielding a team, the Ladies National Committee has decided to reduce the number of players in a team to seven.  This will consist of two pairs and three singles players.  Only two of the three singles scores will count unless there is a tie, when the third score will be taken into account.

The Committee have also approved the use of Distance Measuring Devices for the Tournament.  Full details of the rules regarding the use of these devices can be found under Tournament Rules on this website.

Further information regarding the arrangements at Abridge will be put on the website as soon as they are available so do keep checking.
